2026 Cost-Based Utility Rate Change

City Council continues to evaluate the operational requirements for City-managed utilities and potential effects that pricing changes may have on the community.

City Council has held multiple workshops and work sessions to:

• Review several possible utility rate change scenarios
• Define the factors used to set utility rates
• Consider new types of utility rates
• Evaluate how different scenarios may affect utility bills, customers, ongoing maintenance, and future improvements
