Exploring the world after dark is an amazing experience. Unfortunately, opportunities to celebrate the beauty of our night skies have become endangered. Worldwide light pollution is increasing at an astounding ten percent per year, with the Milky Way currently invisible to one-third of the world's population. Join us here as we share the exciting steps Lincoln City is taking to become a steward of the night sky. We are working on a city-wide plan to reduce disruptions to wildlife, impacts on human health, contributions to climate change, and unnecessary waste of money and energy.
