Worldwide light pollution is increasing at an astounding ten percent per year, with the Milky Way currently invisible to one-third of the world's population. Join us here as we share the exciting steps Lincoln City is taking to become a steward of the night sky. We are working on a city-wide plan to reduce disruptions to wildlife, impacts on human health, contributions to climate change, and unnecessary waste of money and energy. Be a part of this exciting community crusade!
