Do I need to be a resident of Lincoln City?
All positions are available to those who are residents of Lincoln City and some positions are available to those who may live outside the city limits but inside the urban growth boundary.
Will the application process include a check of my credit?
No, but the City does require a criminal background check of all applicants.
Can I volunteer for more than one board/committee?
Yes! The Budget Committee is the only committee that restricts volunteers. If you are interested in serving on multiple boards or committees, please let us know.
Do I need to have a computer to participate in a board/committee?
No. In some cases, such as the Planning Commission, the City will provide a laptop for your use during your appointment.
Will I get training or assistance fulfilling my responsibilities?
Staff will make training or assistance available on an as-needed basis.
